President Uhuru Kenyatta's lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi, has taken a swipe at NASA leader Raila Odinga, aft the High Court, ordered that Thirdway Alliance presidential candidate Dr Ekuru Aukot be included in the October 26 fresh presidential election.
Raila withdrew his candidature from the fresh polls, leaving the country in dilemma, since IEBC had listed him, and President Uhuru Kenyatta, as the only candidates, in the fresh poll.
Aukot filed a petition, following the move by IEBC, to remove him from the race, following Supreme Court's nullification of August 8 presidential election.On Wednesday morning, Justice John Mutivo ruled that IEBC discriminated against Aukot, and infringed on his rights.
This saw Abdulllahi, popularly known as GrandMullah, mock Odinga, over his withdrawal.
"Justice Mativo has thrown Hon Raila under the bus. Election to be held with all candidates on the ballot except Hon Raila who had voluntarily withdraw. What a miscalculation!!" GrandMullah tweeted.
