Nine victims of tragic Narok accident that that killed dozens last week will be laid to rest this Friday with the county government of Nyamira playing an integral part.
Also, at least 12 who are still recuperating in various hospitals across the country will have their bills paid by the county government.
In a statement from the county government communication team, Governor John Nyagarama will lead county leaders in a mass requiem mass on Thursday before Friday's burial.
"The county government of Nyamira will on Thursday hold a mass service for nine Narok bus accident victim at Nyamira Primary grounds.
"The occassion will be graced by Governor John Nyagarama , his Kisii Counterpart James Ongwae and a host of leaders from across the county,' read the statement.
According to eye witnesses, the driver of the bus lost control when he skipped colliding with a trailler that was transporting construction materials to a nearby SGR site.
The tragedy, reports say, took at least 21 lives with dozens of people taken ill to the Narok County Referral.
