[Photo/Citizen Digital]At least 13 people have been confirmed dead following a road accident at the Kamukuywa Bridge along Webuye-Kitale road.Bungoma North OCPD, Eliud Okello said the deceased were traveling from Kitale to Webuye in a 14-seater matatu, before the Monday night accident.He said the matatu rammed into the rear of a tractor transporting sugarcane.Witnesses said the matatu was being driven at a high speed when the driver lost control, ramming into the back of the tractor.The 13 died on the spot with one sustaining serious injuries during the 8 pm carnage, which occurred on Jamhuri Day eve.The injured was taken to a nearby hospital.
