According to Warfa, the council is dishonest and unfairly endorsing candidates, leaving the rest.

Warfa rubbished the negotiated democracy process where Ahmed Muhumed was picked as the community’s preferred governor candidate.

“I believe I am better placed to be endorsed. After I realized the process was unfair, I went back to the US, despite having paid a mandatory Sh1 million application fee",he lamented," he said.

“As if that was not enough, the OSC went ahead and announced that I had conceded defeat and was in support of the outcome. They lied,” Warfa added.

Muhumed is vying on the Party of Development and Reforms ticket (PDR) as Warfa will run on the Alliance for the Real Party of Kenya ticket.

Warfa noted that he is a grassroots person and would concentrate on where most residents with needs are so as to beat incumbent ODM's governor Ahmed Abdullahi.
