Aspiring Nyamira County governor Dr Elneo Nyakiba has come out to condemn his rivals whom he has accused of undermining him politically.
Addressing Jubilee supporter in Nyamira on Monday, Nyakiba urged his his rivals to respect him as leadership only comes from God.
"It is a pity that some politicians are out there underrating me as a weak candidate for the gubernatorial seat, but what they should know is that it is only God who gives honour and power to his chosen leader and that may be me come next election," said Nyakiba.
Nyakiba further urged his competitors to sell their manifestos to Nyamira residents rather than tarnishing his name in public functions.
"I challenge my competitors to sell their manifesto to our people, and if it happens the people will like their manifestos and decide to elect them to office so be it, rather than tarnishing my name as a weak candidate in this race," added Nyakiba.
