Lela residents were on Saturday shocked after a groom failed to appear amid great expectations of the great awaited day.
Guests streamed in large numbers dazzling in their outfits not knowing what awaited them.
After hours of much waiting and patience, they realised that something was not right. His calls did not go through forcing the guests and residents to send a search party to his home where they found the room locked with no one on site.
The guests who had sat all day would not deny themselves the pleasure of the great day as they queued to have themselves the delicacies laid for them as the bride to be was escorted away amid tears.
