The local leaders want the management of the camp changed.Led by Dmajale MCA Diriye Abdi the leaders are advocating for the replacement of the head of operations at the Dadaab refugee camp, Jean Bosco and his assistant Ivana Unluova before the operations can resume. “We are telling UNHCR that it will not be business as usual with them as long as this man (Bosco) remains in office. We have had many heads of operations before who worked in harmony with our community and the local leadership, let them replace him,” Hussein said, as quoted by The Star.
