West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi has said the the future of the Gusii community in terms of politics is not bad as claimed by some self centered individuals.
The MP stated that MPs from the region have agreed to drop their political differences to serve the people of Kisii and Nyamira Counties irrespective of their political affiliations.
"I wish to assure members of the Gusii community that the future of the community in terms of politics is headed to a right direction because all elected MPs from the region have said no to divisive and hatred politics," he said.
He faulted some politicians who are trying to derail development in the region saying Gusii community members should ignore leaders with selfish interests who want to be politically relevant by spreading propaganda.
"Members of the community should ignore those leaders who want to succeed others who are still in office. What we want first is to perform as by our mandate given to us by the electorates before we start saying who will succeed who.
"The first person who has shown band interest is Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi who should be ignored because he has no voice to represent the community," he added.
