Former South Mugirango MP Omingo Magara has assured Deputy President William Ruto that the Gusii community will rally behind him in 2022.
According to the vocal politician, Ruto stands high chances of clinching presidency in 2022 unlike hi rivals who don’t enjoy massive support in the country.
“The Gusii community loves you and the community will vote for young in 2022 because you have been always too close to the community members,” said Magara.
Magara faulted NASA leader Raila Odinga’s for calling for referendum instead of focusing in uniting the country after the last year’s divisive politics.
“Kenyans need to be united and not telling them to accept a referendum. Politics is over and Raila should seek support from NASA politicians to support him and President Uhuru Kenyatta to unite the country following the historic handshake,” he said.
He warned the government against condoning Raila saying he may be dangerous thus derails development in the country.
Magara was speaking on Friday at St. Paul’s Nyabururu Teachers Training College in Kitutu Chache South constituency Kisii County.
