Deputy President William Ruto has urged the Gusii community to support the Jubilee government as one way of embracing development.
Ruto who was addressing residents at Iterio on Sunday during a fundraising said that the government is committed to development as he urged the residents to support it for more achievements.
“As the government we are devoted to making sure that we achieve our goals so I urge you to be together so that we can develop our country,” said Ruto.
In addition, he urged residents to keep themselves away from old politics which divide Kenyans.
“We need to keep off from the politics of old days about a political party, that is why we have decided to have one party which will unite all Kenyans,” added Ruto.
He added that they have measures in place of constructing some roads in Kisii county as one way of improving the transport sectors.
“We have measures in place of constructing some roads, we will come to launch h them as soon as possible so that we can improve transport sector in this region,” he said.
He also said that the national government has installed some machines at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital for improvement of health services in the institution.
