Gusii council has been called upon to give the residents the best political guidance and the way to follow ahead of the coming elections in 2017.
According to James Mosumari, a politician eying Nyaribari Chache Constituency parliamentary seat the community is currently lost and they lack the unity that they need to benefit from the government in power and there is a need for a quick rejoinder on the same.
Mosumari argued that the Gusii council of elders have failed to give the adequate advise that the residents need and it’s high time they hold an urgent meeting to unite leaders from the area and give them political guidance.
“If the current trend continues other communities will be using us to get into power as we keep on splitting and its high time the council of elders works on the best strategy that will unite us,” he added.
The politician, however, said that once he is elected he will ensure that the community unites and has one voice that will ensure they develop.
He was speaking on Sunday while at a fund drive at Nyamemiso Central SDA Church in Bobaracho ward.
