Outspoken Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has lauded MCAs allied to the Opposition for their bold move following their State House visit on Thursday.
The MCAs, who were accompanied by Bosire, held a press conference at Orange House, Nairobi to clear air about their alleged defection to Jubilee party, barely hours after meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta in Nairobi.
On Thursday, Bosire lauded the leaders in the Nyamira ODM Youth WhatsApp group insisting that they showed the difference between development and politics.
“Our MCAs are not sellouts and that must remain clear. They consulted before going to State House. The good thing is that they discussed development which they have shared with the party leadership,” he said.
“We understand that there is a difference between politics and development. Their bold move to share with the President is welcome and more importantly, they have come out and given valid reasons as to why they honoured the call,” he said.
He also lauded the ward reps for maintaining their strong support to the party and questioning the Jubilee government over the stalled projects in both Nyamira and Kisii counties.
“They have already rejected the move to decamp to Jubilee and actually I am told they questioned why a number of infrastructural projects are still at stand still yet Parliament allocated funds for their completion. You don’t have to be in government to have development in your area of representation,” he said.
