The vote rich region which overwhelmingly voted  for the Opposition Cord has been witnessing heated political campaigns across the political divide with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Cord leader Raila Odinga visiting the region in several occasions.

And now  Bosire, a staunch member of the Opposition has vowed to lock out government from penetrating the region, accusing it of sidelining the Abagusii community in terms of development.

“I want to insists again that Gusii region is Corded. Personally I am ready to pour all resources to ensure the opposition garners over 90 per cent of the votes. That will constitutionally reduce chances of Jubilee winning polls because in 2013, they managed to score over 25 per cent,” he said.

“The community has suffered under this government. We do not have good roads like other areas; tea and coffee sectors are ailing yet some people are running up and down cheating our people. I promise them a humiliating defeat,” said the ODM national treasurer.

However, Jubilee points man Walter Nyambati dismissed Bosire’s sentiments terming them ‘wishing thinking’ and insisted that Jubilee was gradually gaining the ground.

“Sometimes is unfair to comment on wishful thinking but I want to put it clear than Jubilee will carry the day. We are gaining ground and by election we would have beaten the noise makers,” he said.
