Since Omogusii unity movement which is spearheaded by Kisii county Senator Chris Obure has been opposed by many of Kisii and Nyamira counties’ politicians and residents, the community should look for their spokesperson to represent them in the national government.
The movement was to represent the community but it has some bias by not including Nyamira county politicians and residents.
Kisii and Nyamira counties politicians should join and cooperate together to endorse Omogusii community kingpin to succeed in championing for the bargaining power in the national government.
The community used to have their spokesman in the old days who was also Nyaribari Chache MP Simon Nyachae but since he retired from Active politics in 2008 the community has remained divided.
Kisii county Governor James Ongwae and Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama should join together and other county politicians to get an Abagusiii community spokesperson to relay her concerns to the national government instead of Omogusii unity movement which is has been opposed by many so far.
