Out there in the dating world, we run into a variety of players and lying jerks. Sometimes it can be tough to distinguish what kind of guys to avoid and those you want to be with, spend your time on and invest your emotions in finding the best.
The mama’s boy. Living at home up until age 25 is tolerable, as long as the guy was going through education or saving up money. But working for a couple of years and still lives with his mother past this age he’s never going to man up.
The over controlling guy. Dating a man who refuses to do something new makes a long-lasting relationship boring and one-sided.
Dislikes your friends. No man is more important than your friends. If he doesn’t like them and refuses to hang out with them, leave immediately.
The I-need-to-watch-sports-all-the-time guy. There’s nothing wrong with sitting on the couch and watching sports. But this should not outplay the responsibilities of a relationship or take priority over family commitments. There is a difference between loving sports and having an obsession with them. Choose a man who knows the difference.
The Bachelor. He can be good-looking, mannerly, prosperous—an actual eligible bachelor. He’ll make you marvel why some lady hasn’t already snagged him down the aisle.
So, don’t settle for less, because you’re worth so much more than what they can offer. That one good guy is out there waiting for you, even if he comes into your life when you least expect.
