Mobamba residents in Kisii County now have hailed Gusii Water and Sanitation Cooperation (GWASCO) for their quick response after they challenged them to end the sewage problem in the area.
This comes after the residents complained about the bursting sewers in the area and after the story did several rounds in the media where residents were accusing GWASCO of sleeping on their job..
The residents hailed the cooperation for their quick response unlike in the previous days.
James Mokaya is one of the residents who said that now they have confidence that whenever a sewer problem arises it will be fixed in time by the cooperation.
“We have never seen GWASCO responding the way they did last week we hope that now they are going to solve the problems within the county,” said Mokaya.
