COTU secretary general, Francis Atwoli, on Saturday said that he was sure that Garissa's senator son, Noordin Haji, will one day sue a corrupt person in the government.
The COTU boss was speaking on the rampant corruption that has hit the country for a long time now.
He was referring to the corruption issues that have also been a witness in the workers union of COTU.
He claimed that the forensic and audit results revealed loss of billions of shillings at the union.
Mr. Atwoli said that more cases of corruption are currently experienced in this government compared to previous governments.
According to him, many corrupt officials have always been left without any action taken on them.
He, therefore, said he had a dream that the new DPP, Noordin Haji will one day take a corrupt official to jail.
"This new son of Haji, the new DPP am sure he will sue and jail one prominent person. Am sure the son of senator Haji, who went to Australia for further studies, must jail someone. Am convinced if he works together with the new DCI they will jail someone.
"Am convinced things are not going to be the same because Boinett tried but he was alone," said Mr. Atwoli.
Mr. Haji who took over as the new DPP from Keriako Tobiko, during vetting, promised to work with other arms of Judiciary to make sure that such cases of corruption are well dealt with.
