According to the order by Limuru Sub-County Administrator Justus Mwangi, which he showed to journalists on Wednesday, Ndung'u has been accused of contravening the Act by constructing a permanent structure on the piece of land claimed to be owned by the sub-county.

However, Ndung'u has refuted the accusations threatening to go to court to stop any demolition that might be underway.

"This land was allocated to my late father by the Colonial Government and what I did was just to improve the structure by rebuilding it using stones to make it a bit presentable,” said Ndung'u.

Ndung'u said that his decision to rebuild the structure in 2010 after the death of his father, was facilitated by allocation of the plot after its approval by the now defunct Kiambu County Council.

On his part, Mwangi said that the law on Physical Planning is clear and there was no compromise over the matter.

"I urge everybody to always abide by laws and regulations set by able authorities to avoid unnecessary loses resulting from demolition of strctures. Follow the law and no one will be after you,” said Mwangi.
