AFC Leopards boss Stewart Hall has said that his side fought hard to win the match against Thika united on Sunday.
Igwe emerged winners with a 2-1 margin.
According to Hall, his side had rough time playing at the Thika Municipal Stadium due to its condition.
"The pitch is completely not in good shape. I wouldn’t expect my players to play in this kind of a pitch; it’s not football nowhere, it’s a fight.
"Yes we have won, but it’s because we have strategies for playing in both bad pitches and good pitches but this is not a good pitch at all," he told Goal.
AFC Leopards are now placed at position two, above Gor Mahia.
