The National Women football team, Harambee Starlets squad on Thursday, March 22, 2018, jetted out to Ndola, Zambia ahead of a friendly match against the hosts.

The match is set to be played on Sunday, March 25, 2018. It will act as a build-up to the upcoming Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCN) Qualifier against neighbors Uganda on April 4, 2018.

Harambee Starlets is the third Kenyan team to leave the country in recent days after the senior men and the U23 teams went to Morocco and Uzbekistan respectively for friendly matches as well.

Starlets’ squad will jet back on Monday evening and later head back to camp in preparation for the two-legged-qualifier against Uganda.
