Kenya's Harambee Stars departed the country Thursday morning to Mozambique as they prepare to take on the home side Saturday at the Saturday at the Estadio de Zimpeto

The match will serve as a preparation for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Ghana next year in March.

Harambee Stars coach Stanley Okumbi has expressed his confidence before the match despite the lack of key players.

Ethiopia and Sierra Leone also join the qualifying pool as the winners of every group and three best second placed sides will advance to the highly anticipated tournament in Cameroon.

During Kenya's last meeting with Mozambique in November of 2016, Harambee Stars emerged victorious with a 1-0 win courtesy of a goal byEric Ouma.

Key players set to miss the match include Victor Wanyama, Michael Olunga, Johanna Omolo and Eric Ouma.
