Harambee Stars left back Aboud Omar has been rendered clubless after his club, Slavia Sofia terminated his contract over behavioral misconducts.
In a statement, club president Ventsislav Stefanov said that Omar has over the past developed a disrespectful behaviour to the senior staff, coaches, his teammates and the entire people of Bulgaria; he is further accused of learning vulgar expression in Bulgaria language which he has used to address his teammates.
"For no apparent reason, the player became rude, inconceivable and arrogant, allowed his voices during training and official games, and out of the pitch he continued to blame the losing club and did not stop with his insults to the senior coach and his assistants. He learned the most vulgar expressions in Bulgarian and began to address them to his teammates without exception,"
"The naked Kenyan did not get bored and began to curse everything related to life in our country and did not try to conceal its dislike towards the state of Bulgaria at all," the statement read in part.
The 2013 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup winner is further accused of being late to report to training whenever he travels back home and a lot of injuries simulation when called upon to explain.
"Many times, Omar Abud allowed himself to be unreasonably late after his travels to Kenya and absent from training. There are not one or two official meetings of the team, of which he deserts himself with simulations of severe injuries," he said.
The president further said he made the decision to remove the Mombasa- born star under the existing legal orders.
"All professional PFC Slavia players support the decision and approve of the removal of Omar Abud from the team," he stated.
