Harrambee Stars will today Saturday play Zanzibar in a match that will decide who finishes top in Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup Group A.
The match will be staged at Kenyatta Stadium Machakos from 4pm.
Zanzibar could secure a semi-final slot should Kenyans lose the match.
The islanders won their first two opening matches 3-1 against Rwanda and 2-1 against their mainland counterparts Kilimanjaro Stars of Tanzania.
Kenya on the other hand has amassed four points after a 2-0 win over Rwanda and a barren draw against guest team Libya.
Harambe Stars coach Paul Put has however expressed hope of defeating the Heroes even as he praised their team spirit.
“I saw a little of Zanzibar game against Rwanda, it is a motivated team with good players, quick on counter attacks and long balls. It is going to be a difficult team to play against because if you play at home you want to dominate the game," he said.
“But I think now we have to concentrate, work hard and recover before the next game,” said Put.
