Harambee Stars midfielder Eric Johanna helped his Swedish club IF Brommapojkarna secure a 2-0 comfortable win over second division side AFC Eskilstuna on Sunday at Grimsta.
Johanna netted one and assisted the other in what was his first match for his new club since his move from lower tier Vasalund.
The player initially played for Kenya Premier League side Mathare United last year December.
The player signed a four-year deal with the Swedish topflight club.
The preseason friendly tie also saw Kenyan international, David Ochieng feature for IF Brommapojkarna in the first half.
Johanna assisted the goal in the 19th minute, before extending the host's lead nine minutes later.
He has been impressive through his career, with his startling form seeing him crowned the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) Midfielder of the Year in 2016.
He has three goals in 18 games for the football national team since his debut against Ethiopia on 4 July 2015 at the Nyayo stadium.
The 23-year old is largely remembered for his maiden winning goal for Kenya against Congo at Kasarani Stadium.
