National soccer team Harambee Stars players have joined training camp, ahead of the upcoming CECAFA Senior Challenge cup set to be held in Kenya between December 3, 2017 and December 17, 2017.
According to the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) website, the team is set to hold its first training session on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, under new coach Belgian Paul Put.
Gor Mahia defender Harun Shakava will miss the tournament due to an injury. Zoo Kericho defender Isaac Kipyegon has replaced Shakava in the Stars squad. Also called up is Zoo Kericho’s striker Nicholas Kipkirui.
