Harambee Stars qualified to the semi-finals of the Cecafa senior challenge cup on Monday afternoon after they beat their rivals Tanzania in a tough match.

The game was played at the Kenyatta stadium in Machakos County.

Vincent Oburu’s 20th minute goal in the first half helped Stars sail through in a fair home crowd.

The win put Stars at 8 points leading in group A.

Harambee stars coach Paul Put lauded the players saying they are now set to win in the semis.

Stars will now take on Group B leaders Burundi in the semis as defending champions.
