Harambee Stars head coach Paul Put has said that they have lined up two international friendly matches next month.
The matches will be used to prepare for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2019 qualifiers.
Put revealed that Cameroon will be one of the team Stars will play against.
Another opponent may be Burkina Faso, Mali or Nigeria.
“We want to play two matches in March during the FIFA calendar so we have a confirmation to play Cameroon and I am looking for confirmation for a second game which could be Burkina Faso, Mali or Nigeria so we have options,” the coach is quoted by Futaa.com.
The coach said that all football stakeholders more so fans should support Harambee Stars quest for the 2019 AFCON spot to be held in Cameroon.
"This is very important to have everyone on board and do the necessary work because for me I don’t know all the players abroad so for me it’s a lot of lobby work since the games are very important,” he said.
Kenya is in Group F alongside Sierra Leone and Ethiopia. Harambee Stars will face Ghana away on March 22, 2018.
Ghana and Sierra Leone lead the group with 3 points each, while Harambee Stars and Ethiopia are bottom without a point after one round of play.
