National team Harambee Stars will head to their second friendly match against the Central Africa Republic today, Tuesday in Morocco without the services of Captain Victor Wanyama.
This will be the team’s final match in the North African tour, which saw them play their first match against Comoros Islands on Saturday.
Wanyama left the team’s camp on Sunday accompanied by a physio attached to the players' English side Tottenham Hotspurs.
He was instrumental in their first match against Comoros, where he scored the opening goal in the 2-2 draw.
Besides Wanyama, China-based Ayub Timbe is also a doubt for the match, while Michael Olunga, David Ochieng, Eric Johanna and Ismael Gonzalez did not train with the team on Sunday, but are expected to shake off knocks and play in today’s match.
Their friendly matches are part of preparations, ahead of their African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
