National soccer Harambee stars return to action on Saturday hoping to beat Zanzibar to qualify for the quarter-final matches in the ongoing Cecafa tournament.
The team coached by the newly appointed coach, Paul Put is out to reclaim the Cecafa senior challenge title they last won in 2013 when the annual event was hosted here in Nairobi.
Zanzibar came from behind to beat fellow countrymen Tanzania 2-1 in their second match of the tournament at the Machakos Stadium on Thursday.
On Friday, defending champions Uganda Cranes will take on South Sudan.
The Cranes need to win the games to enhance their chances of making it to the quarterfinals after being held to a barren draw by Burundi in their opening game.
