Tanzania national team 'Kilimanjaro stars' have already been eliminated at the competition but besides that, they promise to bow down in style today evening at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County.
Harambee stars are under pressure to beat their long-term rivals in order to qualify for the Cecafa senior challenge cup semis.
The head coach Paul put said in their previous matches they have been creating too many chances and failing to utilize them into goals.
“We are under pressure to perform but if we play with the kind of organization we have had previously am sure goals will come in the match”, said Paul put.
Harambee stars sit the second position with 5 points behind Zanzibar who have 7 points.
The Tanzania’s head coach Ammy ninje has had a rough time during this year’s Cecafa senior challenge cup with his side only managed to get 1 point. However, he has promised this game between Kenya is going to be ‘war’.
“Every game for us is a final, we know it is going to be a tough game but we will give our best to make sure we go home with pride”, said Ammy Ninje.
Three games are lined up this Monday afternoon, Libya vs Zanzibar, South Sudan vs Burundi and finally Tanzania vs Kenya.
The semifinal of the 39th Cecafa senior challenge cup will be held in Kisumu County on Thursday and Friday.
