Harambee Stars winger Masika.
Harambee Stars winger Ayub Masika Timbe is the latest high-profile Kenyan player to join a Chinese side after completing a move to the Asian country's Second Division side, Beijing Renhe, from Belgium's First Division B side Lierse SK.
Confirming the deal, the club said they could not turn down the offer for the winger, a deal they deem beneficial.
"We know it may not be the opportune time for the club to transfer one of our key players but the deal was too good to turn down. It will help both the player and the club financially," the club said in a statement on its website.
Timbe joined the Antwerp-based side in 2016 from local rivals KRC Genk and since then, he has been very instrumental in the team's chase for top flight football with the side currently sitting top of the log after 13 outings.
Timbe's move to the far East nation comes barely a month after Michael Olunga made a big-money move to the top-tier side Guizhou Zhicheng.
