Kenya Cup champions KCB RFC are set to clash with Strathmore Leos as the aim to defend the title this weekend.
According to the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) fixtures list the 2017/2018 season is set to run up until March 17 next year.
Kabras Sugar is set to face Mwamba RFC at the Kakamega Grounds and will be looking towards their player coach Humphrey Khayange to lead them to victory.
The scheduled match between Kenya Harlequins and Homeboyz RFC has however been postponed after players requested to attend the burial of their former captain Peter Wekesa in Lugari, Kakamega.
Another match will see Campus boys take on Nondescripts at the KU grounds.
Nondies are showing signs of confidence after successfully signing three new players including Moses Begi, Mark Ongayo and Franz Obudo.
All games taking place in the Kenya Cup this year will be played in a one off format to allow the early kick off of the 2018 Kenya 15s international season with all matches set to kick off at 4pm.
