Mombasa-based artiste Akothee has once again become the talk of town after hinting at ditching the secular world and joining the gospel industry.

Akothee took to her Instagram account to share her intentions and her fans can’t get enough of her.

According to musician, the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) church is the last option she can consider if she decides to walk to Christ, since the doctrine does not tolerate 'nonesense'.

“Sijui muda huu niimbe tuu gospel niokoke niachane na mambo ya dunia? Lakini nikiachana na dunia nitaishi wapi mie Akoth? Na sioni njia yoyote ya kubadili mavazi au tabia yangu yoyote, waona inawezekana kweli? Basi ungependa niingie kanisa gani maana SDA hawapendagi ujingare,” wrote Akothee.

Gospel artiste Size 8 also joined the discussion and encouraged Akothee to seek the Lord.

Size 8 urged Akothee not to bother herself with small things like her dressing code, adding that the Lord will fix her life if she meant what she wrote on Instagram.

The award winning artiste is known for her flashy lifestyle, and becoming a gospel singer is the last thing her fans expected.
