Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho who is rumoured to be dating Rwanda President Paul Kagame’s niece seems to still have the ticks for the Kyalo’s.
Reportedly, the governor has nominated Betty Kyalo’s brother Kevin Munywoki Kyalo as the Youth and Gender County Executive Committee member in his new cabinet.
According to a statement from the county, Kyalo will serve alongside Taufiq Mohamed Balala – Transport and Infrastructure, Godfrey Nyongesa Nato – Environment, Edward Dzilla Nyale – Lands, Physical Planning and Housing, Hazel Koitaba – Health and Fatma Awale who is in charge of the Water, Sanitation and Natural Resources docket.
Some new faces in the cabinet include Hassan Mwamtoa (Agriculture) who was former Nyali MP Hezron Awiti’s running mate, Fawz Rashid (Trade and Tourism) who was a board member at the Coast General Hospital and Seth Orongo (Devolution and Public Service ), a lecturer at the University of Nairobi.
The cabinet members are expected to be sworn into office soon.
According to kahawatungu.com, Joho dated the outgoing TV host Betty Kyalo until last year and is currently with the Rwandese beauty.
