In a press conference on Monday, Omar elaborated why he resigned as Wiper secreatry general. Wiper is an affiliate party of NASA.

He accused Wiper Kalonzo Musyoka of double standards.

"Kalonzo is weak and meek," Omar said.

He also took a swipe at Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and said he cannot vote for Raila apparently because he supports Joho.

"I have supported Raila because I believe he had ideals, but right now I cannot vote for Raila to become President and work with who is Mombasa Governor today. I told him and say it today, I cannot cast my vote for him. Let those who want to insult us do so, but we will know where we will put our votes even if they are just 20,000," he said.

He added: "That is when they will know why their opponents got 50 plus one."

Omar was however reluctant to say where he is headed to after resigning from wiper.

The former Mombasa Senator vied for the county's top seat but was beaten by Joho who was running on an ODM ticket.

He accused the county of being governed by 'vifaranga vya madawa'.
