[Photo|PSCU]During his formal welcome to Jubilee after defecting NASA, former Mombasa senator Hassan Omar Hassan, made several revelations about the Raila Odinga-led coalition.Omar defected from Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper Democratic Movement, after resigning as the Secretary-General of the party, days after losing his gubernatorial bid to incumbent ODM's Ali Hassan Joho.He revealed that things started going sour between him and NASA (then, CORD), after its leaders demanded dismissal of former Commissioners of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).According to him, former IEBC chairman Ahamed Issack Hassan and his team were wrongly targeted because of his Islamic faith, and minority group.Omar also alleged that the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) did not have the one million signatures for its 'Okoa Kenya' which aimed to reform the electoral body."They did not have the one million signatures. They knew it, and that's why IEBC told them that many of the signatures were forgeries," said Omar, Sunday. He further asked IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba, who NASA wants dismissed, not to go anywhere."And I want to tell my brother Chiloba... go nowhere. Do your work, don't favour Jubilee or NASA. Until the court finds you guilty, stay put and serve Kenyans. You have a family to feed."Omar was speaking at Serani Grounds, during Jubilee Party campaign rally, attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy William Ruto, alongside other leaders.
