Speaking on Sunday during a Jubilee rally, Mr. Omar declared that the National Super Alliance (NASA) is unfair in pushing for the removal of Mr Chiloba without any evidence that he bungled the August 8 General elections.Omar asked the IEBC CEO to ignore any calls for his resignation by the Opposition and continue with his job at the commission.“I am ready to defend this young man because the Supreme Court found no culpability on any of the IEBC officials. You cannot support or respect one side of the decision and not the other,” Omar said. The former Wiper Party Secretary General, who resigned recently, however, urged Chiloba to conduct the fresh presidential poll in a free, fair and transparent manner.Omar spoke as he joined President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto in a campaign rally at Serani Grounds, Mombasa County. The former embattled NASA leader was officially welcomed into jubilee party by president Uhuru Kenyatta. He vowed to campaign vigorously for Uhuru's reelection bid.
