Former Mombasa senator Hassan Omar has revealed that main reason that drove him out of NASA into Jubilee Party.
Speaking while meeting Mombasa elders at a luncheon on Friday, Omar said that it became difficult working with NASA because the party was rigid to other opinions.
Omar said that Jubilee were listening and could accommodate other people's ideas, and that this was the main reason he jumped ship.
He criticised NASA leader Raila Odinga saying he turned a blind eye to corruption, hooliganism and dark deals involving his close people.
He revealed that prior to Joining Jubilee, the party agreed to grant him four requests for the benefit of the people of Mombasa.
Part of these, he said, was the need for the county to greatly run its education sector.
“Our standard of education is very low. We cannot compete with others the countryside," he said.
