This might sound ridiculous but the truth is it might be the reality. Personally, I am a realist and not an idealist.

A realist says what is while an idealist says what should be! At times, I am a realist and sometimes an idealist! After the August elections, I haven't seen any supportive activities done by the Kisii political leaders than before.

All the Kisii county assemblies(Kisii and Nyamira) have passed the people's assembly, a motion which was forwarded by the NASA principals.

Though the two governors from the two counties James Ongwae(Kisii) and John Nyangarama (Nyamira) haven't said anything in contrary, in politics, actions speak louder than words.

Recently, some Kisii lawmakers Richard Onyonka(Kitutu Chache), Silvanus Osoro(South Mugirango), Ben Momanyi(Borabu) and Vincent Kemosi(West Mugirango) refused to sign the NASA affidavit which was brought by the Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala to show their loyalty to NASA leaders Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka as president and deputy president respectively.

This is more than it meets the eye. The same way Turkana governor Josphat Nanok has decided to recognise Uhuru Kenyatta as legitimate president is what some the lawmakers from the two counties are doing.

This clearly shows that Kisii might have crossed over though from underground. What might work against them is the recent move by Mr Uhuru Kenyatta not to award the majority of them a cabinet slot except for Fred Matiang'i (Interior and Coordination).

This might make some think twice. But as things are at the moment, Kisiis are not with NASA. I even dare say that none of the mentioned lawmakers and governors will attend the NASA swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday.
