Lawyer Nelson Havi has weighed on the petition filed to remove Chief Justice David Maraga, Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu and other Judicial Service Commission (JSC) members from office.
According to Havi, those behind the petition are a Supreme Court judge and three Court of Appeal judges.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Havi noted that lawyer Adrian Kamotho Njenga was not behind the petition adding that it was the work of but 'power hungry judges.
"The petition for removal of CJ Maraga and other JSC Commissioners is frivolous but well thought of and drafted. It is not the work of an idle nondescript LLM student but that of 1 SCOK and 3 COA power hungry but gullible Judges whose foot and finger prints are all over it," he tweeted.
He went ahead and named MPs who should be held responsible in case the Judiciary is 'fixed'.
"Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (Departmental) Committee Members: William Cheptumo Kipkiror, Alice Wahome, Japheth Kiplangat Mutai, Johana Ngeno Kipyegon, George Gitonga Murugara, Boss Shollei and Jeniffer Shamalla. Blame them if and when the JSC and Judiciary are fixed," added Havi.
