Kilifi County Health Services CeC Dr. Anisa Omar visited Bamba Sub-county Hospital and Rima Ra Pera Dispensary in Bamba ward to asses the facilities, listen to the challenges faced by the health workers and the residents of the ward.
She was accompanied by Acting Chief of Health Services Kenneth Kazungu, the health management team, Bamba ward MCA Christopher Mwambire and Bamba ward administrator Habakkuk Masha.
At Rima Ra Pera dispensary in Mitangani, the community informed the CeC and chief officer that the facility was built but has never been opened and asked them if it was possible to have it open to prevent them from traveling to Bamba hospital which was quite costly to them.
Speaking at the Dispensary Dr. Anisa assured them that the facility would be up and running any time before June this year.
She also checked on patients and wished them well.
