The initiative aims at analysing and highlighting challenges that the health sector at the sub county level encounters as well as providing way forward in eradicating the challenges for better services.

According to the county executive in charge of health Margaret Chepkwony, annual review provides an overview of all the facilities’ progress across the county.

While addressing representatives from various county facilities at Poa Place Resort, Mrs Chepkwony said they are working to ensure all facilities access and adopt Health Management Information System to aid in management of patients' records.

"We want to see our facilities operate paperless like Huruma Sub County Hospital,” she noted.

She added that they are working on equipping the facilities with drugs and other equipment to ease service delivery.

"We will incorporate the transfers of our health staff to work in other sub counties. This will make them active and familiarise with every corner of the county and its facilities,” reiterated Mrs Chepkwony.

The exercise which was facilitated by Ampath saw large number of representatives from all county health facilities reached at an agreement of providing quality services to the public.
