There is no shortage of ambulances in Nakuru County, Health CeC Kabii Mungai has said.

Dr Mungai said all the 11 sub-county hospitals in Nakuru have working and functional ambulances.

Mungai made the remarks after residents of Naivasha complained of lack of an ambulance at the Naivasha District Hospital.

"What I know is that the county government has ensured that we have at least one ambulance in every sub-county hospital and we are much better than some counties," said Kabii. 

He added that some people might be experiencing the shortage because one ambulance cannot serve everyone at the same time.

"The ambulance cannot be available to everyone all the time but the thing is there is an ambulance,"he said.
