The traders are counting numerous instances where they were disrupted by the heavy rains during their business in the markets. Bridges, rivers have not been left in the destruction by the heavy rains. 

Traders in the Kisii’s Daraja Mbili market have been affected most by the rains as they are forced to close down their business early so as to avoid the raains and since most of the traders do not have permanent shades in the markets. 

The rains has caused an headache to the traders especially those who operate on open grounds at Daraja Mbili and some parts of the Kisii CBD.
