Several passengers escaped death by a whisker on Saturday after a heavy down pour that flooded Nakuru-Nairobi highway.

Motorists along the highway, at the Medical foot bridge, were forced to jump off moving vehicles as raging waters swept their vehicles.

Nakuru County Government swift action ensured passengers were rescued from the submerged vehicles.
