According to Nyagarama, he had already discussed with the president about the challenges facing them and he agreed to solve them when they visit the market where he (the president) was launching the Kebirigo-Metamaywa road.

"I informed the president about the backstreets and some few roads around Kebirigo market which is around 4km and the president agreed to construct them through public request which I was to make at the market where I was not allowed to speak," Nyagarama said.

Nyagarama termed the heckling as political because the residents have been supportive in his governance all through until the evening before the coming of the president when a gubernatorial aspirant ferried some youths to heckle him.

The governor has urged politicians, especially aspirants of various political seats, to show respect to other leaders more so those in office for they shall need respect if they may be elected.

"If you need to be respected when you will be in office, respect those who are in office now," Nyagarama said.
