The Higher Education Loans Board has reopened its second and subsequent undergraduate loan application for 2015-16.
In a notice to students on its official twitter handle, @HELBPage, students who did not apply during last year’s two extension periods can access the online application link on its website www.helb.co.ke.
The deadline for the application is February 10.
At the same time, it has also notified unsuccessful first time undergraduate loan applicants that loan/bursary review (appeal) application for 2015-16 is now open.
Therefore, the applicants in need of loan review can as well access the online loan review forms on the website. The deadline for the application is March 15.
This comes a time when Helb has launched a smart card system that will be rolled out to all loan beneficiaries in move to ease efficiency in its services.
Already, Co-operative Bank University Students are set to receive their Helb smart cards.
