Speaking to this writer, Nyabade said that the only wealth worth donating to the children is education.

“No society can develop without investing in the children’s education. It is high time various professionals come together and advocate for the rights of children to basic education, and at the same time help facilitate it,” said Nyabade.

He noted that as Go Fishnet Happy Kids, their main agenda is to see a nation free from discrimination in terms of acquiring basic education.

He said that their organisation is championing for quality education by providing it for free to orphans and vulnerable children in the society.

The organisation’s advisor Gideon Amollo said that plans are underway to extend their services to the people living with disabilities.

“Parents should desist from hiding their physically challenged children since they also have bright futures which should be realised as early as possible,” said Amollo.

Amollo urged the provincial administration from the region to conduct patrols and ensure that underage children enrolled in beaches within Kisumu County for fishing expeditions are forced to go to school.
