Dan Omariba, 27, on Thursday claimed that Mr Kelvin Sese, his father's brother, had ordered him to stay away from the house where both of his parents were buried after returning home from Nairobi on grounds that he was an “outsider”.

He alleged the uncle threatened to kill him if he dared stay in the compound besides promising that he would not allow any negotiations over the same.

“I just came recently from Nairobi where I had gone to look for ways of sustaining myself. My parents died when I was young and left me with an aunt but now I have returned to my home,” he said.

“I was shocked when uncle ordered me not to occupy the house of my late parents that I wasn’t a genuine member of the family. He even threatened to kill me if I violated his directives,” he said.

He called upon the government to help him tackle the problem since he had no financial muscles to sue his uncle in the court for the sake of justice.

When contacted for comment, Mr Sese, said he knew nothing about the incident.

“I don’t know what you are just asking. I am not the right person for those questions and I have no time for such discussions,” he said.
