Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi has called on lawyers in the country to stop being non-committal on national duties and support the opposition.
Mudavadi said the economic plunder going on in the country does not allow anyone to plead ignorant, and challenged lawyers to join other Kenyans in agitating for meaningful change.
"If you live in Kenya, you can't plead ignorant of what is the greatest rip off of people by this administration," he said.
He added that the ballooning wage bill coupled with youth unemployment and poor priorities advanced by the Jubilee government are steering the country in the wrong direction.
The former vice president who is the brainchild of the much-hyped National Super Alliance (NASA) which seeks to unite all the opposition members under one roof spoke during a dinner held by Rift Valley Law Society of Kenya branch in Nakuru Town Sunday.
